Travel to France with PBLS - Pays Basque Immersion (September 28 - October 10)

This language and cultural immersion group trip to France centers around the Pays Basque cities of Biarritz, Anglet, Bayonne - (or as local residents say, "BAB"). The trip runs from September 28 - October 10, 2026.

Staying as a group in a private house, travelers can enjoy the casual and comfortable setting of this beautiful region of France–without hopping on and off of tour buses or checking into multiple hotels.

This trip includes a two week language and cultural immersion with classes taught in French by PBLS’ very own French instructor Sarah Camborde. This trip is open to adult students interested in improving their French language abilities in an exciting immersive environment with fellow students from Penobscot Bay Language School. All language abilities are welcome!

Group size is limited to accommodate a more personalized visit and learning experience. The $2600 trip price includes an experienced tour leader from Penobscot Bay Language School, thirteen nights accommodation, ten group meals, cooking lessons, guided outings in surrounding communities (Anglet, Bayonne, Hossegor, etc.) for shopping, restaurant visits, cafés, numerous cultural sites, and of course… ten days of morning language classes with BAB local, and PBLS French instructor, Sarah Camborde!
